Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)

     Sagewood, Inc began providing Mental Health Services to Children, Youth and Young Adults in 1994.  Since then, Sagewood has been providing these services to families and children throughout McKean and Potter Counties. In 2019, the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services made the decision to transition Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS) to a new service known as Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS). 

    Sagewood, Inc. became licensed by the Office of Mental health and Substance Abuse Services on June 1, 2020.  IBHS provides support for children, youth, or young adults under the age of 21 with mental, emotional, or behavioral health needs. To qualify to receive IBHS the child, youth or young adults must have a  behavioral health /mental health disorder diagnosis. Services can be provided in the home, school, or other community setting.
